About Curtis

 

Curtis is a professional cyclocross athlete and is the 2022 USA Cyclocross National Champion currently racing for the Steve Tilford Foundation.  For a number of years, Curtis has balanced his cyclocross ambitions with pursuing a degree and racing professionally on the road for 4 years with Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies, Rally Cycling, and Jelly Belly p/b Maxxis.  In the fall of 2018, Curtis graduated from Union College.  He holds a B.A. in Classics with a minor in Law and Humanities.  He received his diploma three days before competing at the 2019 Cyclocross World Championships in Bogense, Denmark. He currently lives in Beverly, MA.

Curtis has been selected for numerous national team camps, trips, and World Cup teams, and has represented the USA at ten World Championships.  He is the current USA Cyclocross National Champion, the 2018 Pan-Am Continental Champion, has placed 2nd at the 2018, 2019, and 2021 USA Professional Cyclocross National Championships, and finished 12th at the 2022 Cyclocross World Championships.
